Police in Germany are calling for anyone who witnessed an armless man walking down the streets of Munich with a 24-inch TV strapped to his body to come forward.
Apparently, the TV didn't belong to him. It was stolen from a shop while staff weren't looking, with two accomplices believed to have helped strap it to the man's body.
"Staff only knew about the theft after they saw one of the display TVs had been taken off its stand," a police spokesman said.
"It's hard to believe that the sight of an armless man walking along with a giant TV clamped to his body did not get anyone's attention."
Staff say they only realised the TV was missing after seeing the empty stand and reviewing CCTV recordings.
Obviously, anyone's first assumption would be "An armless guy and two friends that are good with straps". You've got to start somewhere.
