Berlin dogs get private bus service to day centre
Fools have never been so easily parted from their money as they have in Berlin, with dog owners happy to pay $24 to have their pooch driven across town on a dogs-only bus.

BERLIN - Busy dog lovers in Berlin can have their four-legged friends shuttled across town to a day centre thanks to a new bus service exclusively for canines.
Six dogs boarded the bus aimed at helping working pet-owners on its first full day in operation on Monday, at a cost of 15 euros ($24) per passenger, the operators said.
"The owners were really enthusiastic," a spokeswoman for the Pfoetchenhotel (Paw Hotel) said.
On the 50km ride to the hotel in the town of Beelitz, southwest of Berlin, the animals sit in cabins fitted with air-conditioning, central-heating, blankets and music.
Once at their destination, they can play, eat or relax in
special hotel rooms before embarking on their trip home. The
bus can take up to 20 dogs and runs five days a week.
