Foolhardy ... a cat risks being killed in Florida yesterday.

Someone, or something, is killing Florida's cats.
Authorities in Miami-Dade County and Lauderhill are keen to rule out raccoons and foxes as the suspects in a case that has seen dozens of mutilated cat carcasses left for their owners to find.
They’re keen to rule out animals because if the culprit is human, such killings have a disturbing tendency to lead to human victims.
"It's rare that we see these kinds of injuries caused by people, so it's important to rule out the other possibilities," a spokesman for the ASPCA told reporters.
Reports claims the animals have appeared in a range of disturbing states, such as skinned, cleanly gutted or with their limbs lopped off.
So are humans next?
"Is this possible? Of course,'' a police spokesperson said.
Convicted serial killer Jeffrey Dahmer and The Boston Strangler were infamously known as serial animal abusers before the turned their attention to humans.
The Boston Strangler – Albert Desalvo – trapped dogs and cats and shot them with arrows for pleasure.
