Stuck at home on Prom night because you've got povvo parents and can't afford an outfit?
Never fear.
Proving once again that if it can't be done with duct tape, it can't be done, a website has been flooded with entries after requested graduates make their own prom outfits from the handiest adhesive known to man.
In fact, the Stuck At Prom contest is now in its ninth year, and with the Global Economic Crisis hitting hard, duct tape has become the new Hollywood tape.
And duct tape has come a long way since being, well, black.
It's still just as sticky, and maintains the same legendary strength that's seen it hold cribs and car windscreens together for hundreds, if not thousands of years.
It's a bit more colourful these days is all, so here's some of the best entries from the 2009 Stuck At Prom competition.
