A 5.8m-long crocodile is reportedly stalking construction workers in Australia's Northern Territory after trophy hunters illegally shot and decapitated one of its rivals.
Workers retrieved the body of a 4.4m male reptile — which had a bullet in its side — from the river before a vandal cut off its head.
Locals believe the bull croc had become "enraged" after the remains of the rival floated through its territory.
