Now, obviously this isn't funny, and it certainly isn't clever.
This horse could have been seriously injured, maybe even dead, after getting its head stuck in a tree.
But it wasn't, and it didn't, so feel free to laugh at the sight of this equine idiot struggling to free itself from a tree trunk in the town of Pullman, West Virginia, USA.
Nobody knows why it decided to stick its head in a tree. Nobody cares.
Certainly not local passer-by Jason Harschbarger, who heard its muffled whinnys for help and managed to stop convulsing long enough to take a few decent pics of the nag before getting help.
'Help' came in the form of Mr Harschbarger's chainsaw, as he carefully chopped the tree away in chunks until the horse was free.
"She has a few cuts on her face and ear," he told a local news service.
"Last I heard her jaw was a little dislocated but I think it is healing up and she can eat on her own again."
So there's a win for the Creationists.
