Miracle ... a frog changes to green after being purple.

Frog God

India has a new god and it's being kept in a glass in Reji Kumar's house.

When Reji found a frog while watering his garden, he didn't think much of it at the time, apart from the fact it was white.

Then it started changing colour.

First yellow, then grey by the time he got it home.

When he bunged it in a jar, it became transparent - clearly a sign of deific power.

Well, enough to convince hundreds of Reji's fellow villagers in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, to join him in daily prayer in front of the frog in a  glass.

The only problem is, the frog is so holy, it won't eat.

"I keep trying to feed it," Reji said.

Better get your prayers in quick then.

People Behaving Badly

"There's nowt as queer as folk" said someone once in a suitably heavy rural British accent, no doubt with a wise shake of the head.
