President hit by monkey urine

In the first instance of a monkey urinating on a president, a monkey urinated on Zambian President Rupiah Banda today.

Fortunately for Banda, it was at a news conference with many journalists watching.

"You have urinated on my jacket," he said to the monkey above him in a tree.

The monkey maintained a dignified silence while masturbating.

Mr Banda said it was possible the urinatory act may have been "a blessing".

However, his hopes were soon dashed after the incident inflicted a savage flurry of puns on the world.

"Zambia leader hit by 'press leak'" and "Zambia's President Rupiah Banda 'pee-ved'" were among the worst offenders.
