A German teenager has been hit by a METEORITE.
No, really.
Gerrit Blank, 14, was walking home from school when the meteorite crashed into him at 50,000km/h
"At first I just saw a large ball of light and then I suddenly felt a pain in my hand," he told Sky News.
"I heard a bang like a crash of thunder."
He said the "massive fireball", which hit his hand and left a small crater in the footpath.
The meteorite was roughly the size of the pea. But it was definitely a meteorite, so it's still a cool thing to have happen to you.
Scientists have already tested it and say it's definitely from outer space, where meteorites regularly hang out.
Gerrit's strike was a one-in-a-100 million chance, or something like that.
