Re: UFOs and the Blue Mountains
The few things in common part made me giggle nervously, but it's actually accurate. Most people I've met who claim they've been abducted by otherworldly aliens (rather than the type that run cross the Mexican/Texas/Arizona borders on a regular basis SEEM to live the way you indicate. Farmers living alone, solitary writers, South Americans who've relocated to homes in N.A. on lonely properties with large parcels of land around them. I've met quite a few, considering my father worked on 'Blue Book.' The Fringe of society, shall we say. Could also be a conspiracy by annoying, evil, accident-causing, Greek-descended HVAC drivers trying to force people to buy his air conditioning units. Old, well-made stone and farm houses usually don't need them (BELIEVE me, he KNOWS who he is, so do all of us who lived in Connecticut in the 1980s)!
